ROTATED POLIGONS


This is a ROTATED POLYGON: it is not so complex:

CAN YOU recognize the shape? HOW MANY sides does it have?

You need a REGULAR POLYGON to start with.




 We are going to use an EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE:


1-Draw an equilateral triangle. The side is 10 cm long.
2-With the compass (2cm wide) divide each side in 5 equal parts.
3-JOIN the first division in the first side with the first on the second side.
4-JOIN the second division with the third: THIS WILL CREATE ANOTHER EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE.

5-Repeat this until you do not have any divisions left.



Once you know how to draw polygons, youĺl be able to discover many outstanding shapes:
